Phillip W. Looney
Minister of Inter Generations
Phillip presently serves as the Minister of Intergenerations at Westmore Church of God beginning in August, 2015. His area of ministry spans across a variety of ages: from the Millennial Marriage (Young Marrieds) group to groups ages 55 and up.
A graduate of Lee University, Phillip met his wife Tammy and they together have served in thriving churches in Michigan, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee. Phillip has a Bachelor’s degree in business with minors in Music and Religion. Tammy, also a graduate of Lee University, presently teaches 3rd Grade alongside their oldest daughter, Kristen.
For the past thirty years Phillip and Tammy have served together in music ministry. Phillip has served on Church State Music Boards, State and National Teen Talent adjudicator, has been a worship leader and served as a guest clinician. He continues to minister with his three siblings, The Looney Brothers, at various times during the year.
Phillip and Tammy are the proud parents of three children. Oldest daughter Kristen lives in Ooltewah, TN; she and her husband, Justin Phillips, gave the Looneys their first grandson, Mason. Jessica lives in Cartersville, GA, and their youngest, Phillip Matthew, lives at home as he is continuing his education at Lee University.
Phillip enjoys all sports and cherishes times with family.
