Higher Ground Leadership (Part II)/Pastor Mark McCord/Element Building (2450 Legacy Pkwy., N.W.)
(Class will resume Part II on March 13 at 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.)
Join Westmore’s Executive Pastor and international leadership expert, Mark McCord, for Biblically-based journey into the heart of leadership. This course is designed for people who are ready to stand up and be counted, step up and be involved, reach up to achieve their full potential, and power up to transform their communities. Leadership theory won’t do it. Best intentions will fall short. Transformational leadership requires skilled, empowered, energetic, and values-based leaders who aren’t afraid to take on the tough challenges. In short, it will take people who are ready to find the higher ground.  People who refuse to be invisible, who are not content with looking the other way, and who demand solutions. The course is designed for leaders from 18 to 65 years of age who are not satisfied with sitting on the sidelines…
who want to change their community and their world.

I Will Build My Church/Douglas and Wanda LeRoy/Room 100 (Office Wing)
Jesus promised to build a church that the gates of hell could not destroy. Since the church is so important, what is it? In this study, we will look at the eight “M’s” of the Church: Meaning, Mission, Ministers, Members, Mystery, Motive, Means and Might. We will discover that the church is not a building, but it is people fulfilling God’s will in a secular world. Join Dr. Douglas LeRoy for this exciting topic based on a book he wrote, titled by Jesus’ words “I will Build My Church.”

Women’s Bible Study: Discerning the Voice of God/Judy Warrick/Rooom 005
A decade ago, Priscilla Shirer authored Discerning the Voice of God, and since then God has continued to grow, teach, and challenge her in her walk with Him. This revised and expanded edition reflects that growth through new stories, illustrations, and exercises. Through 7 sessions, discover the root to clear and daily communication with God – humble obedience. Learn how surrender unlocks His many blessings intended for us, centers us in His will, and helps us discern His voice in everyday life.

Caveman’s Club: Who Do You Think You Are? (Part II)/Robert Green/Legacy Commons (2235 Candies Lane)
Join Robert Green and Westmore men for a book study on Ephesians, called “Who Do You Think You Are?” (Part 2). Men will discover where there victory comes from. Each participant will gain a deeper understanding of God’s goodness. He is a Good Father who wants men to learn from Him how to be good fathers to their children. Other topics in this series addresses new creation, spiritual gifts, prayer, and identity.

Grief Care/Ginger Robinson and Debbie Page/Conference Room of New Office Building (2232 Candies Lane))
If you or someone you know experienced the loss of a loved one, consider joining others who have gone through a similar tragedy and have overcome on a journey toward healing and wholeness. This group will be a safe and confidential environment for all participants and will follow a DVD-driven curriculum, which will include stories of other grief overcomers.

Missions Prayer Movement/Grant and Janice McClung/Room 110 (Office Wing)
Join us for a time of prayer for the nations and for the Gospel to reach the people even to the ends of the earth. This group often has a variety of speakers and missionaries from around the world who share about the work of the Lord in America and overseas, accompanied with a genuine time of prayer. Sometimes the group views the newest missionary reports via the video resources provided by the Church of God World Missions.

Growing in Grace/Dr. Dewayne Thompson/Lee University Education Building/Room 124
