Westmore Church of God is committed to building up people through sound Biblical teaching. Making disciples is our mission. As passionate followers of Jesus Christ, we must make disciples who make disciples. “Becoming the one who LEADS” is our theme. We have purposed that our courses be diverse and well-balanced. All of our Wednesday night classes have been designed to equip us, the members of the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:12-13), to be leaders the Holy Spirit desires and empowers us to be.
The L.E.A.D.S. acronym covers the five categories that we follow in our course selections: Leadership (1st Cor. 11:1), Evangelism (Isaiah 52:7), Abundant living (John 10:10), Discipleship (Matthew 16:24), and Service (Matthew 20:26-28).
Our Sunday night F.O.C.U.S. groups are designed to connect people relationally. We are told to “comfort each other and edify one another” in 1 Thessalonians 5:11. Jesus gave attention to the multitudes, but He also gave attention to small groups and gatherings. We “do church” on Sunday nights differently than on Sunday mornings. There are tremendous benefits in both. In a smaller group there is room for personal ministry, close relationships, deeper spiritual growth. We invite you to join one of our F.O.C.U.S. groups and Find your calling and grow deeper in the Word, Own your spiritual gifts and your story, build Covenant relationships with other Christ-followers, Understand your destiny and your place in this world, and be Sent out to Serve.
Our Westmore Church Family desires that you feel welcome and at home while you are with us. Every six weeks we host (at no cost to you) an “Celebrating Our Guests Luncheon.” Our next event is at noon on June 24 at the Element building.
The Community Bible Experience Bible is available for only $8 and can be purchased at the Discipleship Office or on Sunday mornings after service in the church lobby. These Bibles are not required for the Community Bible Experience, and for those who choose to use their own Bible, are free to do so. You can…
