Ben Pérez currently serves as the Church Administrator at Westmore Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee. He joined the team in October 2013. His primary responsibilities are to oversee the day to day administrative operations of the church in support of the overall church mission of “Reaching with Care, Nurturing with Word, and Worshipping with Passion.”
Prior to joining the Westmore staff, he served as an Air Force chaplain from 1971-2001 with assignments in many parts of the United States and the world. Upon his retirement from the Air Force in 2001, he joined the staff of Lee University as Chair of the Department of External Studies, and later as Director of the Center for Adult and Professional Studies. He retired from full-time service at Lee in June 2013 although he continues as an adjunct instructor and supports other university functions.
Ben earned the Bachelor’s degree from Lee Bible College in 1967, Masters in Religious Education from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1971 and the Doctor of Ministry from Beeson Divinity School of Samford University in 2002.
Ben and Carmen have been married since February 1968 and have two grown children, Michael and Maria. They also celebrate four granddaughters.
